QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
PROFESSOR
- Applicants must be of professorial rank in a public university or an institution of equivalent status.
OR
- Applicants must have taught in a University or an institution of equivalent status as Associate Professor for a minimum of two (2) years and
- must show evidence of research and publications to be assessed in line with the University’s criteria for promotion.
- An applicant seeking appointment to the grade of Professor from outside any of the public universities shall submit the required publications and other relevant documents for assessment.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
- Applicants must be of the rank of Associate Professor in a public university or an institution of equivalent status
OR
Applicants must have taught in a University or in an institution of equivalent status as Senior Lecturer for a minimum of three (3) years and
- must show evidence of research and publications to be assessed in line with the University’s criteria for promotion.
- An applicant seeking appointment to the grade of Associate Professor from outside any of the public universities shall submit the required publications and other relevant documents for assessment.
SENIOR LECTURERS
- Applicants must be of the rank of a Senior Lecturer in a public university or an institution of equivalent status
OR
- Applicants must have taught in a university or in an institution of equivalent status for a minimum of four (4) years and
- must show evidence of research and publication to be assessed in line with the University’s criteria for promotion.
- An applicant seeking appointment to the grade of Senior Lecturer from outside any of the Public Universities shall submit the required publications and other relevant documents for assessment.
LECTURERS
- For the appointment of a Lecturer, the applicant must possess a research Master's degree and a relevant Doctoral degree.
- NON-TEACHING STAFF POSITIONS
DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES
Positions:

Medical Officer
Qualifications:
Candidates seeking appointment for the above position must possess a degree in Medicine/Surgery/Dentistry/Optometry and should have completed his/her housemanship rotations and must be on the permanent register of the Ghana Medical and Dental Council.
Health Administrator
Qualifications:
- Applicants must possess Masters degree in Health Administration/Public Health (MPH)/Business Administration (MBA) with a health care specialization in Hospital Management/Health Policy & Management.
- Applicant must be a member of relevant professional body such as GHASPA – Ghana Health Service, Physician Assistant and Administrators Association/ PHCM – Institute of Public Health & Clinical Management.
- Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years post-Masters experience in Health Administration.
