Strategic Partnerships and International Collaboration

Since

Partnership is central to CeRCCA’s work. We are currently collaborating with the following networks and professional organisations to extend research exchange, cultural dialogue, design practice and creative arts education:

  • Exploring Visual Cultures network (EVC)

An international collaborative network supporting intercultural dialogue, visual culture research and exchange across educational and cultural contexts.

  • Pan-Arikan Design Institute (PADI)

A partner in advancing African-centred design discourse, professional exchange and the relationship between design, cultural identity and innovation.

  • Design Institute of Ghana (DesignGhana)

A professional partner linking research, design education, industry practice and opportunities for creative professional development in Ghana.

Through these relationships, CeRCCA aims to encourage joint research, scholarly and practitioner exchanges, workshops, exhibitions, collaborative publications and initiatives connecting African creative knowledge with international conversations. Specific activities will be developed in consultation with each partner.

Our Approach to Collaboration

We welcome partnerships with universities, research centres, creative industries, cultural institutions, government agencies, non-governmental organisations and community groups. Potential areas of cooperation include funded research and consultancy, capacity building, cultural archives, educational resources, public programmes, community-based projects and sustainable creative enterprise.
