UEW Inaugurates 17-Member Endowment Trust Fund Board
Justice Jacob Charles Amonoo-Monney, Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), on Monday, 13th October, 2025, inaugurated a 17-member Board for the University’s Endowment Trust Fund (ETFB) at the Council Chamber of the University.
The inauguration contributes to strengthening UEW’s financial sustainability and advancing its vision of becoming an internationally reputable institution for teacher education and research.
UEW Alumni President Donates GH₵1,000 to Injured Creative Arts Student
Dr. Samuel Ofori Danquah, President of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Alumni Association, has donated GH₵1,000.00 to support the medical treatment of Mr. Emmanuel Akwasi, a Creative Arts student of the University, who sustained severe injuries while working on a class project titled “Waste to Worth.”

Three scholars from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have been awarded a grant valued at US$400,000 in laboratory equipment by Seeding Labs, an international non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening scientific research capacity.
