Security personnel at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have been encouraged to focus on physical fitness to improve their ability to handle emerging security challenges on campus and in the surrounding areas.

This call to action was made during a two-day fitness training programme organised by the Directorate of Security Services in collaboration with the Division of Human Resource (HR). The training took place at multiple locations, including the Students Centre Seminar Room III, the Department of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sports (HPERS) gym, and the UEW handball court.
