The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni has empowered security personnel of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) to be brave and professional in executing their duties.

He authorised them to ensure that every staff or stakeholder who enters the University or any office adheres to official rules and follow the laid down precautionary measures by the University in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

The Vice-Chancellor said this on Friday, 20th March, 2020 during Management’s meeting with security personnel from all four campuses of the University to remind them of their significant role in protecting life and property of the University.

“This morning, we have called you to remind you of your responsibilities and to assure you that just as we take good care of you and make all the necessary sacrifices to ensure that you are well taken care of, I will also require of you to do your part as security guards and workers of this great University,” Rev. Fr. Prof. Afful-Broni stated.
