AIMS

The Faculty of Health, Allied Sciences and Home Economics Education aims at academic excellence, developing skilled professionals, conducting relevant research, and community service.

GOALS

  • Provide quality education and training: To develop skilled and ethical professionals in Health, Allied Sciences, and Home Economics who can significantly improve healthcare delivery, Home Economics Education and Lifelong Learning in Ghana and beyond.
  • Promote innovative research: To advance knowledge in the field of Health, Allied Sciences and Home Economics Education, through the development of evidence-based research and interventions, that address pressing national and Global Health, Allied Sciences and Home Economics related challenges.
  • Offer community service: To work with community stakeholders to provide high-quality Healthcare, Allied sciences, and Home Economics services that address health needs and improve the overall quality of life of the populace
  • Enhance professional development: To create opportunities for faculty and students to gain practical experience and develop entrepreneurial skills in Health, Allied Sciences and Home Economics Education.
  • Foster collaborations: To create collaborative partnerships with institutions, healthcare providers, and industries aimed at enhancing teaching, research, and community service delivery.
