The Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences and Home Economics Education, University of Education, Winneba (UEW), invites the University community to a student training workshop on Front-of-Pack Warning Labelling (FOPWL) Policy Advocacy.

Organised in collaboration with SEND Ghana, the workshop is designed for students of the Department of Home Economics Education and aims to deepen understanding of Front-of-Pack Warning Labelling (FOPWL) as a public health strategy for promoting informed food choices and reducing the consumption of foods high in sugar, salt and unhealthy fats.

The training will also expose participants to nutrition-related policies, consumer health protection and current public health issues, while strengthening their advocacy and policy engagement skills.
