Mr. Oblie, Emmanuel Lauren

I am a Lecturer and the Examinations Officer at the Department of Applied Linguistics of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Education. I joined the University of Education, Winneba in December 2020 after over fourteen (14) years of teaching at the pre-tertiary level.

I am passionate about developing second language learners' writing skills by bridging the gap between a thorough understanding of learners' psychological, cognitive and socio-emotional characteristics on one hand and teachers' approaches, strategies and techniques on the other hand.

I have a penchant for research, knowledge creation and knowledge dissemination, in which regard I love to explore issues in technology-enhanced language teaching and learning and academic/classroom discourse.
