OVERVIEW

The Department of Applied Linguistics is situated at the South Campus sharing same building with its Faculty, Faculty of Foreign Languages Education and Communication.

VISION STATEMENT 

The Department shall attain true academic and professional excellence that would place it on a platform to play a prominent role in the University’s quest for the realization of its vision of being an internationally reputable institution for teacher education and research.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Department shall produce high quality educators skilled not only in researching, disseminating knowledge and providing exemplary leadership in the teaching of the various foreign languages in Ghana and elsewhere, but also proficient in contributing to issues related to policies on national educational planning.
