Prof. Lomotey, Charlotte Fofo

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Ghana. I received my MPhil (Applied Linguistics) at the UEW, Ghana and my PhD in English with emphasis on Applied Linguistics at the Texas A&M University, Commerce, USA. My research focuses on the interplay between prosody and discourse, Issues in TESL, Academic discourse, and the Phonology of English as a lingua franca. I teach courses such as World Englishes, Second Language Acquisition, Second Language Writing, Second Language Teaching, Research Methods, and Pragmatics. Currently, I'm the Dean, Faculty of Foreign Languages Education at UEW.
