MA in African Sustainable Communities – Israel

The University Community is hereby informed that applications are open for the MA in African Sustainable Communities programme at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), Israel, for the 2025–2026 academic year.

This unique Master’s programme focuses on the critical issues, rapid changes, and exciting opportunities shaping Africa in the 21st century. It invites students from all disciplines who are eager to engage in meaningful dialogue and critical thinking about sustainable development in African communities.

Key features of the programme include:

  • A strong emphasis on active learning and field-based experience

  • Professional skills training

  • Direct engagement with a diverse and experienced faculty

  • A capstone research or community development project in an African community following one year of study at BGU

Full and partial scholarships are available to successful applicants.
