The Department of Educational Foundations (DEF) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) hosted a two-day workshop from Thursday, 19th to Friday, 20th December, 2024, aimed at revamping the Professional General Education courses at the University.

Prof. Frimpong Kaakyire Duku, Chairman of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Alumni Reorganisation Committee, has underscored the critical importance of alumni engaging actively in the governance of their alma mater.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) in collaboration with Right to Play, a non-governmental organisation has inaugurated a modern facility to enhance play-based learning activities.

The newly established facility, located within the School of Education and Life-Long Learning (SELLL) Block at the North Campus of UEW, boasts executive seats, interactive whiteboards, and a 75-inch television, providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Fresh students from the Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD) are kindly informed to settle their fees as indicated in their admission letters and register at the nearest study centre with a copy of their payment receipts.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) recently held an intensive training workshop aimed at empowering its academic heads.

This initiative, designed to bolster the competencies of deans, directors, and heads of department (HoDs), was organised at the Students Centre Seminar Room III, North Campus, Winneba.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has held a matriculation ceremony to formally welcome 256 new sandwich students to its diverse academic community.

The Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) wishes to reaffirm that the reopening date for the First Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year remains unchanged. All continuing and newly admitted students are expected to report to campus on Saturday, 11th January 2025. 

The Department of Educational Foundations, School of Education and Life-Long Learning, wishes to inform the UEW community of the scheduled Resit/Supplementary Examinations for General Education Courses. These examinations are slated to take place from 14th to 17th January 2025, in accordance with the First Semester 2024/2025 Academic Year calendar.

Following the release of the 2024 West African Senior High School Certificate Examination Results, the Admissions Office, UEW wishes to inform all those who applied to the University of Education, Winneba as awaiting results applicants to kindly visit their application portals and upload/update their records.
