Turnitin Anti-Plagiarism Software

Since

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) provides access to Turnitin, an anti-plagiarism software that supports academic integrity and originality in teaching, learning, and research.

For Faculty:
Faculty members are issued Turnitin accounts to check student submissions for originality, identify possible plagiarism, and provide constructive feedback.
New lecturers should visit the University Library to have their Turnitin accounts created. Account setup details will be sent to their official UEW email.

Account Recovery:
Staff who have forgotten their Turnitin login details can recover their accounts by visiting the Turnitin login page and using the “Forgot your password?” option. Assistance is available at the University Library if needed.

For Students:
Students who wish to check their work for plagiarism should contact the UEW Library or send a request using their UEW email to the appropriate campus library:

  • Winneba Campuses: osalibturnitin@uew.edu.gh
  • Ajumako Campus: ajulibturnitin@uew.edu.gh

The UEW Library is available to provide guidance and support in using Turnitin effectively.
