Dr Victor Owusu is currently working as a lecturer at the Department of Geography Education, University of Education, Winneba. Dr Owusu is a human geographer with special interests in coastal livelihoods, oil and gas industries, natural resource management, and tourism geography. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the University of Education, Winneba. Victor Owusu holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Geography with a focus on coastal livelihoods and natural resources management from Seoul National University, South Korea. Dr Owusu also holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management from Silla University, Busan, South Korea. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Resource Development, with Archaeology from the University of Ghana. He is a Global Korea Scholar who benefited from the Korean Government Scholarship Programme. He is also a beneficiary of the Seoul National University Global Scholarship. His specializations includes; Coastal Resources Management, Environmental Governance and Sustainability Studies, Climate change and Adaptation, and Ecotourism Development.
