Mrs Shiella Appiah Kubi is currently with the Assistant Registrar for the Quality Assurance Directorate. Prior to joining the Directorate in 2021, she had worked in the then Faculty of Educational Studies and Division of Academic Affairs. She has worked as an Economic Empowerment Manager for Global Brigades Ghana, a Non-Governmental American Based organisation. She worked as the Head of Marketing and Relations for Microfin Rural Bank in the Central Region from 2012 to May 2018.
Mrs Appiah Kubi is a product of the St. Monicas Secondary School where she read General Arts. She holds a B.A. Theatre Arts majoring in Theatre for Development from the University of Education, Winneba. She holds a Commonwealth Executive master's in business administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and currently reading a Master of Science in Management and Human Resource Strategy from the same University. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Managers. Mrs Appiah Kubi holds a certificate in Human Resource Management and certificate in Public Relations from the Open Institute, Accra.
A seasoned Administrator and Human Resource Practitioner with strong leadership and communication competencies. She has extensive Management experience having risen through several ranks and positions. She has to her credit a number of memos, survey reports and papers. She was awarded the overall best female student in the Department of Theatre Arts in the year 2012 and was awarded an outstanding alumnus of the same department in 2018.
Mrs Appiah Kubi has served on several committees as a Member and Secretary. She is currently a member of the University of Education, Winneba's Strategic Planning Monitoring Committee.
She is a member of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA) and the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Managers.
