Biography
Prince Owusu Adoma (Ph.D) is a health promotion professional who specialized in community health promotion. He received his PhD in Health Promotion (Community Health Promotion) and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in 2019. He received the Dean’s Award of Excellence for his PhD thesis in 2020. Ghana. He has more than a decade work experience in health communication, teaching, and public advocacy. He has won travel grants, contributed to projects management, publish peer reviewed research, and a resource person for training and capacity building. He has also served as a board chair, consultant, and collaborated in several capacity. His works thrive on quality of life and bridge inequality gaps in society.
Prior to his appointment as a lecturer in University of Education, Winneba, he was a lecturer at UHAS and Principal Health Tutor at the Community Health Nurses’ Training College, Tanaoso. He was also a Part-Time Lecturer at Catholic University of Ghana, Fiapre (CUCG) from 2014 to 2022. He taught undergraduate courses in adolescent health, sexual and reproductive health courses on the BSc. Public Health programme and contributed to the MPH programme. He also worked as a private research consultant at Inspired Technology Consult since 2014 and a CEO of Decisive Business Solution which deals in medical logistics supplies and medical research.
