Dr. Emmanuel Kumah is an Assistant Professor of Health Administration at the Department of Health Administration and Education, University of Education, Winneba. He holds BSc, MSc, and PhD, all in Healthcare Management. He has over 15 years of experience in healthcare management and administration. He started as a Health Services Administrator and prior to joining the academia, he was Deputy Director and Head of Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, the second largest hospital in Ghana. Dr. Kumah has over 30 peer-reviewed publications in the area of Health Policy, Health Systems, and Healthcare Management. He also serves as a peer-reviewer for a number of academic journals, including BMJ Open, Health Expectations, BMC Health Services Research, PLOS ONE, Health Policy Open, BMC Family Practice and International Journal of Healthcare Management.
