International Women’s Day Celebration

The Gender Mainstreaming Directorate, UTAG-UEW and SRC/LNUGS WOCOM proudly present the 2026 International Women’s Day Celebration.

Theme:
“Give to Gain: Advancing Gender Equity Through Education and Opportunity.”

The theme underscores the importance of deliberate investment in women and girls through policy, education, social protection, and institutional support, with the understanding that empowering women ultimately yields collective social, economic, and national development gains.

IWD 2026 is not just a celebration, it’s a strategic call to action. Education and access remain the most powerful levers for unlocking gender equity. The conversation will be bold, practical, and impact-driven.
