Biography
Dandy George Dampson is a trained teacher, lecturer, educationist and a researcher. He is an associate Professor (Educational Administration and Management). He is a Professor in the Department of Educational Foundations and the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Studies, University of Education, Winneba, where he has been since 2007. From 2017 to 2020 he served at the Head of Department of Psychology and Education. From 2020 to 2022 he was appointed as the Director, Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD) at the University of Education, Winneba. He is currently the Dean, Faculty of Educational Studies. He graduate both his Masters and PhD from University of Northampton, UK. His research interest span from diversity context in teacher education, Educational leadership, management and Administration, school transformation and change, student internship and teacher empowerment. He has published 7 books and over 45 articles in scholarly journal across the globe. As at November 2022, Google scholar reports over 2000 citations to his work. He has given numerous invited talks and presentations local national and international. He is a member of professional bodies.
