Biography
Pascal Kpodo, PhD
- Dr Pascal Kpodo is a Senior Lecturer in Ewe language and Linguistics in the Department of Ewe Education at the University of Education, Winneba. He holds a PhD and an MPhil in Applied Linguistics from the University of Education, Winneba, and a B.Ed in Ghanaian Language Education (Ewe) from the University of Education, Winneba. He served as the Head of the Department of Ewe Education and later as the Post Graduate Coordinator for the Faculty of Ghanaian Languages Education at the College of Languages Education, Ajumako. His research interests include Phonetics, Phonology, Sociolinguistics, Literature, and Creative Writing. His publications have appeared in the Nordic Journal of African Studies, Papers in Applied Linguistics, the Journal of Applied Linguistics and Language Research, and the Hybrid Journal of Literary and Cultural Studies. He has authored four books: Agbemɔ, Meɖe ha nu, Eʋe ƒe gbeɖiɖiwo kple wo ŋuti sewo, and Phonetics and Phonology: The Basics.
