I am a lecturer and early career researcher at the University of Education, Winneba. I hold an MPhil in Science Education and a BSc in Chemistry Education from the University of Education, Winneba, and an HND in Chemical Engineering from the Kumasi Technical University in Ghana.  My research interest is focused on investigating students’ difficulties and misconceptions of chemistry concepts and using research-based and innovative ways of teaching and learning to help students overcome these challenges (conceptual change). As a Chemistry educator, I aspire to use evidence-based approaches that will make the understanding of chemistry concepts easier for my students to teach and to conduct relevant chemical education research that will inform the teaching and learning of chemistry, especially, organic chemistry, which has a reputation of being a difficult area of chemistry among students, by collaborating with other researchers and educators from around the world, and also provide mentorship for students studying science subjects and aspiring to study science by offering academic counseling and career guidance to them.
