UEW Eases into Semi-Finals of Tertiary Business Challenge Version 4.0
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), made light work of the Dominion University College to book a ticket to the national semi-finals of the Tertiary Business Sense Challenge Version 4.0.
Team UEW amassed a total of 76 points against the 11 points garnered by Dominion University College at the end of the competition. The University of Education Winneba team comprised Marcus Tetteh Obuadey, Rebecca Baah, and James Nana Ofori.
Team UEW thus becomes the first participating university to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition. They are expected to be joined by other participants to face off for a place in the finals.
This is the fourth time Team UEW is taking part in the competition. The team was eliminated in the quarter-finals of its first appearance in the 2019 edition. In 2020, UEW placed 4th and came third in 2021.
The team is coached by Mr. Samuel Gameli Gadzo, HoD of Applied Finance and Policy Management; Richmond Adu Addo, and Seth Ashigbui, both past contestants and now National Service Persons at the School of Business, UEW.
