Prof. Avoke Tours Faculties
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mawutor Avoke with his team has embarked on a two-day familiarisation tour to interact with members of the various faculties on the two campuses of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).
Prof. Avoke was on the tour to connect with members of the various faculties firsthand, learn about their needs, and solicit their help and recommendations for upholding unity, reconciliation, peace, and development for the betterment of the University.

Prof. Avoke with his team, comprising the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Andy Ofori-Birikorang; Registrar, Surv. Paul Osei-Barima, Esq. and the Principal of Ajumako Campus, Professor Dominic Kweku Danso Mensah, undertook the two-day familiarisation tour from Tuesday, 15th to Wednesday, 16th February, 2022.
At the various faculties, the Vice-Chancellor and his team addressed questions and contributions on working together for peace, unity, reconciliation and development of the University.

Prof. Avoke took the opportunity to applaud the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof Andy Ofori Birikorang, for his endless support ever since he assumed office as the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Prof. Andy Ofori-Birikorang, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and his team, appreciated the Deans and Faculty members for their warm reception and for making time to attend the fora.
He added that the visit would help the new Vice-Chancellor build rapport with the lecturers of the various Faculties, especially the newly appointed ones and be updated on the latest developments in the University.
