CIP Welcomes Six-member Delegation from University College of Northern Denmark

A six-member delegation from the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) has arrived at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) for a week-long visit to interact with faculty and the University community as part of the partnership agreement between the two parties. 

The delegation is expected to be involved in seminars, workshops and public lectures with the University community and teachers of selected basic schools within the Efutu municipality.      

The Centre for International Programmes (CIP) of the UEW gave the delegation a warm welcome at the Registrar’s Conference Room, North Campus, UEW, on Monday, 22nd November, 2021.

The Dean of CIP, Prof. Charles K. Assuah, in his welcome remarks, commended the delegation for coming down to UEW to share teaching, collaborative experiences and familiarise themselves with the University community.    

Assistant Registrar at CIP, Mr. Seth A. Tompoli, on his part, took the delegation through itinerary for the celebration of the International Fellows week being organised by his outfit.

As part of the International Fellows week, the six-member delegation will be taking the University community and basic school teachers through topics such as “Teaching of Science, Classroom Management, Outdoor Education and Teaching of History: The Danish Perspective. The public lectures will highlight the Ghana-Denmark history and international fellows lecture series. 

The six-member delegation comprises Marianne Hald-Mortensen, Dr. Maren Lytje, Signe Holk Jensen, Helle Rahbek Thomsen, Jorgen Baerenholdt and Dr. Anne Lassen Zakaria.
