Vacation Theatre Camp 2022

The Department of Theatre Arts, University of Education, Winneba is organizing a Vacation Theatre Arts Camp during this long vacation.

It is intensive but interactive training on the introductive aspect of performance (Acting, Scriptwriting, Directing, TV/Film Production etc.)

THE PROGRAMME IS OPEN TO:

  1. Senior High School Leavers who satisfy the minimum requirements for admission into UEW.
  2. Persons who are already in the Theatre/Film industry.
  3. Anyone who has an interest in Acting or Script Development/Performance or just the desire to receive basic knowledge in performance studies.

NB: Participants with the University admission requirements may be considered for Diploma or Degree programmes in Theatre Arts of the University.

DURATION

The programme will last from 30th October to 23rd December 2022.

AWARD

Successful participants will be awarded a Certificate.

REGISTRATION

Prospective participants should purchase Registration Forms at the cost of Sixty Ghana Cedis (GH₵60.00) from the Accounts Office of the School of Creative Arts, UEW, Central Campus.

In addition, candidates who would like to be considered for regular admission for, Diploma or Degree programmes in Theatre Arts after the vacation programme should purchase online application forms for the 2022 academic year.

PARTICIPATION FEE

Participants will pay Seven Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 700.00) to cover the training during the Vacation Theatre Camp.
