Search for Chancellor for UEW

In accordance with Statute 4[9-12] of UEW Statutes 2020, the Governing Council of UEW has constituted a Search Committee to scout for suitable persons one of whom shall be appointed as Chancellor for UEW.

The Committee has started its work, and is accordingly inviting nominations from members of the University Community.

In keeping with Statute 4[11], the nominees shall be persons who:

  1. must be citizens of Ghana;
  2. must have distinguished themselves in the world of letters, science, business or public affairs;
  3. must not be disqualified or rendered ineligible under Clause 2(b) – (e) of Article 94 of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana; and
  4. must have consented in writing to the nomination.                           

The nominator should provide the name, address, contact number(s) and a short profile of the nominee by Friday, 10th March, 2023 to:
