Extension of Closing Date for the Registration of UEW Alumni Executive Elections
It is announced for the information of all alumni of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) that the closing date for the registration of the UEW Alumni Executive Elections has been extended to Friday, 19th November, 2021.
The extension of the closing date for the registration is to enable all interested alumni of the University complete the registration processes for the Executive Elections which is scheduled to be held at Congress on Saturday, 11th December, 2021. All other dates as earlier communicated with respect to the opening of nominations and the conduct of the Executive Elections remain unchanged.
Members who wish to participate in the elections scheduled for second Saturday in December (Saturday, 11th December, 2021) are entreated to complete the registration process; and also, make payment of annual subscription/dues of Twelve Ghana Cedis (GH¢12.00) and Ten Ghana Cedis (GH¢10.00) contribution to support the activities of the OIA/Alumni Relations. The total amount payable for 2021 is Twenty-two Ghana Cedis (22.00). This is payable at the following outlets below, not later than Friday, 19th November, 2021. Kindly note that you are to indicate your Student Name and your first Student ID or Index Number as reference for all payments:

Please, note that members who register after the given deadline will not have their names listed on the voters’ register, and therefore, would not be eligible to vote. In this regard, only qualified persons who register and make the appropriate payment would be eligible to vote at the alumni elections. Nominations for the elections shall open from Monday, 15th November, 2021 to Tuesday, 30th November, 2021.
To register, members are kindly advised to visit the University website at www.uew.edu.gh to complete the required formalities. On logging onto the website, alumni are to click on the UEW Alumni menu link, key in your first Student ID or Index Number, and also key in your date of birth as the default password to access the registration portal and confirm particulars. All alumni have also been assigned unique Alumni Numbers which could be retrieved through the registration process. Alumni who encounter difficulties with the registration processes are advised to contact the OIA/Alumni Relations for assistance.
