M.PHIL ANIMAL SCIENCE

Entry requirement for admission of students:

For admission to the M Phil programme candidates should possess a B.Sc. or B.Ed. degree in Agriculture with a first or second class.

A B.Sc. degree in a field related to agriculture (e.g. biology, biochemistry and microbiology) may be accepted if this degree is deemed relevant to the student’s chosen area of specialization.

Areas of Specialization include:

• Non-Ruminant Nutrition

• Ruminant Nutrition

• Animal Production and Management

• Animal Breeding & Genetics

• Animal Reproductive Physiology

• Meat Science and Technology Candidates are required to pass an interview before being admitted.
