PhD. Mathematics Education

A person applying for the Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education must have one of the following:

1. Researched Master’s degree (MPhil) in Mathematics Education
2. MPhil in Applied or Pure Mathematics and PGDE
3. Foreign MPhil certificate(s) certified by GTEC

In addition to one of the above, an applicant must:

• Not more than a four-page proposal defining the specific area of interest, brief description of any previous study conducted on the subject and a justification for the study.
• Names of three referees, two of whom should be conversant with the applicant’s academic.
