UEW, Millersville University of Pennsylvania sign MoU
Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Thursday, 25th July, 2019 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Millersville University of Pennsylvania, USA at the Council Chamber, North Campus, UEW.
The agreement will further mutual understanding and enhance the internationalisation of objectives in the areas of education, exchange and research between the two institutions. It will also facilitate cooperative initiatives between the two institutions in the areas of instruction, faculty and student exchange.
Other areas of the cooperation are development of joint academic research, including holding international workshops; development of dual degree programmes; and exchange of scholarly and pedagogical materials like grant of publication rights in one’s own collected works and journals.
Present at the signing of the MoU were the Vice-Chancellor, UEW, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni; Registrar, UEW, Surv. Paul Osei-Barima Esq.; President, Millersville University, Daniel A. Wubah; PA. House of Representatives, Hon. Jordan A. Harris; Omanhen of Effutu Traditional Area, Neenyi Ghartey VII; and Omanhen of Breman Traditional Area, Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII.
Also in attendance were the Dean, Centre for International Programmes (CIP), UEW, Prof. Yaw Sekyi-Baidoo; Dean, Faculty of Science Education, Prof. Ruby Hanson; Dean, School of Creative Arts, Dr. Patrique deGraft-Yankson; Ag.
