UEW Matriculates 2016/17 Sandwich Students

A formal ceremony to admit sandwich students into the Winneba campus of the University of Education, Winneba has taken place at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre on 7th August, 2017.

The Ag. Vice-Chancellor of UEW, Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni urged the Sandwich students to work hard to obtain their certificates. He said, " the admission is a testing ground for your mental and emotional fibre". You must live up to the expectations of your sponsors". The Ag. Vice-Chancellor also urged the matriculants to make judicious use of time by avoiding distractions to their studies such as addiction to the electronic media, drug usage, promiscuity and excess fun.

A total of 824 undergraduates students (made up of 309 males and 515 females) and 608 postgraduate students (made up 370 males, 238 females) took the matriculation oath where they pledged to adhere to the rules and regulations governing the University to uphold its values.
