I am Aaron Makafui Ametorwo, a Lecturer in the Department of Management Sciences in the UEW School of Business. I joined UEW in December 2020. I hold a PhD in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana (2020), having earlier pursued MPhil in Human Resource Management (2012) and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with Sociology (2009).
My research interests are in the areas of work-family conflict, work-life balance, workplace deviant behavior, general organizational behaviour and human resource management practices. I have subsequently published in peer-reviewed international academic journals in such regard.
Over the years I have attended several international conferences, workshops, colloquia and seminars (organized by the Africa Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, University of Ghana, University of Education Winneba, Nobel Business School, among others) during which I presented papers, coordinated activities, and served as session chair. I have also been involved in extension services including serving on the team that developed the National CSR Policy for Ghana, Co-Coordinator of the Ghana Chapter of the Africa Academy of Management, Panelist on The A-League Consult’s National Service Training Workshop, and The EAP Conversation Series.
I love to interact and mentor young people and see them do well!
