UEW Launches Regenerative Agriculture Training for Young Farmers
To promote sustainable farming practices and empower the next generation of agricultural leaders, the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) launched an intensive three-day training programme on regenerative agriculture for young farmers in the Effutu municipality.

UEW Lecture Series Receives Support from Access Bank, Ghana
Access Bank (Ghana) PLC has officially donated ₵50,000 to the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), becoming the first external banking institution to support the university's public lecture series.
UEW Matriculates 256 Sandwich Students, Emphasises Excellence and Responsibility
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has held a matriculation ceremony for 256 sandwich students for the 2023/2024 academic year at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba.
The cohort comprises 114 males and 142 females, representing diverse professional backgrounds. The students are enrolled in various academic programmes, including certificate, diploma, post-diploma/bachelor’s degree, and postgraduate programmes.
Newly Appointed COLANG Principal Pays Courtesy Call on Ajumako Omanhene
Prof. (Mrs.) Rebecca Atchoi Akpanglo-Nartey, newly appointed Principal of the College of Languages Education (COLANG) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has paid a courtesy call to the Omanhene of the Ajumako Traditional Council, Okokudurfo Ogyeabour Kwamena Hammah Ababio II. Prof. (Mrs.) Rebecca Akpanglo-Nartey Assumes Office as Principal of CoLang
Prof. (Mrs.) Rebecca Atchoi Akpanglo-Nartey officially assumed office as the Principal of the College of Languages Education, Ajumako. The transition took place at a handing-over ceremony on Monday, 30th September 2024, following the expiration of Prof. Dominic Kweku Danso Mensah’s four-year term.
