The School of Graduate Studies, University of Education, Winneba, announces an extension of the application deadline for the underlisted postgraduate programmes to 31st December 2024

This extension provides an additional opportunity for prospective applicants to apply and secure admission to pursue their postgraduate studies at the University of Education, Winneba.

The Acting Registrar of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Mrs. Wilhelmina Tete-Mensah, has urged the university's janitorial staff to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism in preparation for the return of students for the new academic year.

The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs is organising the Intensive Pre-Academic Orientation Programme (IPOP) for Fresh Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Date : Tuesday,14th - Friday, 17th January 2025

Time : 8:30 a.m. each day

The Institute for Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS) is initiating a monthly presentation seminar. This seminar focuses on education, learning, research, and academic discourse. Each session will feature a presenter addressing diverse topics, research papers, or publications.

The programme is scheduled to take place on either the first or last Thursday of every month and is open to all faculty members and graduate students.

The application deadline for regular and distance undergraduate applicants has been extended to Tuesday, 7th January 2025. Prospective applicants are encouraged to apply for admission into any of the regular and distance undergraduate programmes. The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs (ODSA) wishes to inform all stakeholders that academic gowns for the First Session of the 29th Congregation Ceremony will be available for collection at the Ground Floor of the Lecturers' Office Complex, North Campus, located next to the Faculty of Educational Studies (FES).

Collection of gowns will be open from Monday, 16th December to Saturday, 21st December 2024.

Five third-year students from the Department of Art Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have garnered international recognition for their participation in the 4th International Technical University of Kenya - Exploring Visual Cultures Conference and Exhibition and the Kenya Innovation Week held from 25th to 30th November, 2024.
