UEW Level 300 Clothing Students Shine in Fashion Show

In a display of creativity and skill, level 300 students at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), wowed audiences with their unique fashion creations at a recent mini-fashion show.

The event, which served as part of their examination requirements for the course titled "Apparel Design and Construction," showcased the students' proficiency in clothing design and construction.

 

UEW Library Receives Multidisciplinary Books from Gomoa Apra Queen Mother

In a gesture of goodwill and collaboration, the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Library has received a generous donation of 450 multidisciplinary books from a delegation representing Gomoa Apra in the Central Region.

UEW Signs MoU with CIUG to Start Chinese Instruction

In a collaboration aimed at enriching cultural exchange and academic programmes, the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), and the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana (CIUG) have initialled a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to introduce the Chinese language and culture programmes at UEW that heralds a new chapter in linguistic diversity and cross-cultural engagement.

CCMAF Project Team Engages Stakeholders at Project Inception

In an initiative to combat climate change and empower local communities, a consortium of researchers from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), UEW-Cooperative Credit Union (UEW-CCU), and Hen Mpoano have convened a pivotal stakeholder seminar.

Held at the scenic Aborigines Beach Resort in Keta, the seminar marked the inception of the "Carbon Credits for Mangrove Farmers: A Pilot Study at Anyanui, Volta Estuary of Ghana (CCMAF)" project.
