Residential Facilities User Fees (RFUF) for the 2024/2025 Academic Year

The university community and the general public are hereby informed of the approved Residential Facilities User Fees (RFUF) for the 2024/2025 academic year. These fees apply to all traditional halls (Simpa, Ghartey, Aggrey, University, and Ajumako) as well as GUSSS Halls.

UEW Chemistry Outreach Programme Promotes STEM Education

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), hosted a Chemistry Outreach Programme on Thursday, 10th October, 2024. The programme aimed to foster a deeper interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among junior high school students in Winneba.

The event on the theme "The Wonders of Chemistry for Tomorrow," highlighted the significant role of chemistry in everyday life and inspired young minds to consider careers in science.

UEW Researchers Launch Innovative Fishing Model School to Combat Climate Change Impact

In a stride towards sustainable fishing practices, researchers from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have unveiled the Climate-Fishing Model School (C-FMS) to counter the adverse effects of climate change on local fishing communities.

The project, spearheaded by three scholars from UEW and generously funded by the Japanese government, strategically aims to execute the transformative initiative to empower the fishing community in Axim.

Level 300 Creative Arts students of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) took centre stage on Friday, 13th September, 2024, as they showcased their creative talents at the inaugural Hybrid Art Exhibition, which took place at the University’s Central Campus in Winneba.

The event, integrated visual arts, music, and theatre, creating a vibrant platform for expression and collaboration among the talented student body.

UEW Physics Students Showcase Innovative Solutions to Real-World Problems

Level 400 Physics students from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) displayed remarkable creativity and problem-solving skills during the "Arduino Project Presentation" exhibition held on Monday, 9th September, 2024, at the Department of Physics Education Lab II.

The event, part of their Electronics II coursework, showcased a variety of inventions aimed at applying theoretical knowledge to solve real-world challenges.
