Dr. Isaac Kwesi Ampah is an Economist whose research interests lie in International Economics, Economics of Education, Technology, and Innovation. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Economics from the Doctoral School of Economics, University of Szeged in Hungary. His academic achievements also include a first-class Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Master of Philosophy degree in Economics, both at the University of Cape Coast. Besides these two, Dr. Ampah holds a post-graduate certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at the University of Education, Winneba and another post-graduate certificate in Local Governance Administration at the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS), Accra Ghana. Before joining the University of Education, Winneba, as a lecturer, Dr. Ampah worked as a Financial Analyst at the UNICEF's Global Shared Service Centre in Budapest (Hungary), a lecturer at the University of Szeged and an Economic Development Planner at the Local Government Service in Ghana.
