About Us

The Department was formally part of the then Technology Department which was established in 1996. In 2010 it was re-named Design and Technology Education to run the following programmes; Mechanical Technology, Automotive Technology, Electrical/Electronic Technology, Wood Technology, Construction Technology, Catering and Fashion. The Department was finally established in 2013 and in 2018 Automotive Technology Education was added to reflect the current Department of Mechanical and Automotive Technology Education.
