Dr. Jacqueline Nkrumah is a multidisciplinary scholar and educator with extensive experience spanning academia, research, and professional practice. She is a Lecturer in the Department of Health Administration and Education at the University of Education, Winneba, where she is committed to advancing teaching, research, mentorship, and curriculum development. Her academic and professional philosophy is grounded in the belief that rigorous research into the determinants of health is essential for generating valid and reliable evidence to improve the social and economic well-being of populations, particularly vulnerable and underserved groups. She is equally passionate about knowledge dissemination and mentoring the next generation of scholars and professionals to contribute meaningfully to societal development and prosperity.
Dr. Nkrumah has authored and co-authored several publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals and actively contributes to scholarship through research collaboration, peer-review, and academic editing activities. Her research interests include adolescent health literacy and policy, health systems and services, maternal and child health, infant nutrition, and health policy and management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Sociology, as well as an M.Phil. in Health Administration, from the University of Ghana. She also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the University of Education, Winneba. Dr. Jacqueline Nkrumah has completed a Ph.D. in Health Services Management, specializing in Health Policy and Management, at the University of Ghana.
