Biography
I have held a PhD degree in Linguistics from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, since June 2016 and I have been an academic staff of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), since December 2016. Presently, I am a Senior Lecturer of Linguistics and the Acting Head of the Department of Applied Linguistics at UEW. My research interests include documentation and grammatical description of endangered languages including Nkami and Nkonya (Kwa, Niger-Congo). I also find interest in areal typological studies involving Kwa and Gur languages. I have published in and reviewed for such reputable journals as Journal of African Linguistics (JALL), Africana Linguistica, Acta Linguistica Hafniensia, Studies in African Linguistics (SAL), Nordic Journal of African Studies (NJAS), Journal of West African Languages (JWAL), Legon Journal of Humanities (LJH) and Ghana Journal of Linguistics (GJL). Since 2007, I have supervised and continue to supervise dozens of Ph.D., M.Phil. and B.A. projects.
