Standard Chartered Science Education and Standard Chartered Kenneth Dadzie Memorial Trust Funds
STANDARD CHARTERED SCIENCE EDUCATION FUND
Applications are invited from eligible brilliant but needy students who are pursuing Pure Science programmes at the undergraduate level for a scholarship from the Under-Graduate Standard Chartered Science Education Trust Fund for the 2016/2017 academic year. Applicants must be prospective 2ndyear students currently in the 1st year (level 100) and must have at least first semester results ready. Applicants must also have a minimum grade of at least Second Class Upper. Only pure Science (Biology, Physics and Chemistry), Medicine, Engineering and Agriculture (Excluding Agro-Business, Agric Economics and Agric Extension) students should apply. Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science students are not eligible.
An Applicant must not be a beneficiary of other scholarships at the time of application. Continued entitlement to the award would be subject to sustained good performance.

Applications are also invited from eligible brilliant but needy Post-Graduate students in Economics or Public Finance for the Standard Chartered Kenneth Dadzie Memorial Trust Fund for the 2016/2017 academic year. Only first year Post-Graduate research students inEconomics are eligible for this award. Applicants should have obtained a minimum grade of a second-class upper division at the undergraduate level.

Mode of Application/Deadlines
- Application Forms can be obtained from the Offices of the Dean of Student Affairs on all the eligible Universities
- Completed Application Forms should be submitted to the Office of Dean of Student Affairs by 30th September, 2016
- Dean of Student Affairs should shortlist applicant and conduct selection interviews by 15th October, 2016
- Dean of Student Affairs submit report to the Trustees of the Scheme by 21st October, 2016
- Award of Scholarship to successful applicants will be held in October 2016 for 2016/2017 academic year.
