Online Orientation (Webshop) for Lecturers on How to Enhance Teaching and Conduct Assessment on Moodle
As part of the arrangements to ensure effective and efficient use of the Moodle in teaching and learning, ULMEC will, from 20th – 24th April, 2020 conduct self-instructional online tutorials (Webshop) for Lecturers.
The first online tutorial titled “Enhancing Effective Teaching and Learning Using Moodle” will be conducted on Monday and Tuesday 20th and 21st April, 2020.
The second ‘Webshop’ titled “Conducting Continuous Assessments and Examinations on Moodle” will be conducted on Thursday and Friday, 23rd and 24th April, 2020.
All Lecturers are required to participate in the sessions by accessing University’s LMS Moodle platform. To participate in the Orientation:
- visit the Moodle home page
- navigate to the ‘Moodle Orientation for Lecturers’ course and
- click on it to gain access to the course.
Kindly, note that the two sessions, like the earlier ones, are online self-paced tutorials available to users 24/7. You are free to visit the tutorials at your convenience and interact with the content even before the Faculty-based scheduled online meeting. However, facilitators will be available to users on the Faculty-based scheduled times to throw more light on any issues that may arise for participants in the particular Faculty in session.
The tutorials will still be available online and on-demand even after the orientation is over. This means users can also visit the course at any time after the scheduled training for reference.
