Notice of Election of Board of Directors and Committees for the UEW Cooperative Credit Union Limited

The University of Education, Winneba Cooperative Credit Union Limited announces for the information of its cherished members that vacancies exist for the following positions in the Credit Union for Winneba, Kumasi and Mampong Campuses.

1. Board of Directors:                              (7 positions)
2. Committees:
   
   1. Loans Committee                      (3 positions)
   2. Supervisory Committee             (3 positions)

ELIGIBILITY:

1. An Aspiring applicant must have been a regular contributor for not less than TWO years.

2. Aspiring applicants shall be vetted by a Vetting Committee as required by the Union’s Bye Laws [Article 44 (a)] to be prequalified for the attention of the Electoral Committee.

NB.

1. Candidates for (a) above: Kumasi and Mampong campuses will elect one Board member each.
2. Vacancies for (b) above are meant for candidates from Winneba only.

NB.

1. A nomination form shall be rendered invalid if it does not show the names and signatures of the nominee and his or her seconder.
2. An applicant shall be disqualified if he/she ticked more than one position.
3. All completed nomination forms must reach the Publications Unit by 4.00pm, Friday, June 28, 2019.
