The Department of Theatre Arts in collaboration with the Department of Theatre and Film Studies, University of Cape Coast is mounting two (2) plays with the titles: I am so happy I could just shit and Daily Bread:

 

I’M SO HAPPY I COULD SHIT!

Synopsis:

Set in front of a K.V.I.P in the central market of Ashiaman,I’m so happy I could just shit! brings to bare the everyday activities that go on at the K.V.I.P. The play is a typical comedy and is meant to create amusement and laughter

 

GIVE US THIS DAY OUR XMAS BREAD

Synopsis:

The play is a satire on the current trend of charismatic wave sweeping across the country.It satirizes the so call prophets and men of God who claim they have been called from God into ministry.These self-acclaimed men of God feed on the ignorance of their followers. The play reflects these gullible women who sheepishly follow these prophets in want of miracles.
