Challenges with Processing of Staff Claims for Payment being addressed

The University’s Integrated Financial Information Management System (TOPAZ Accounting Pro) Software has been down for a while now. This has led to a delay in the payment of claims. The University Management and the developers of the TOPAZ system met this morning Wednesday 11th April, 2018, and an agreement has been reached to get the software running by close of today.

Invigilation and Excess Marking claims have been approved but without the software, it is tedious to complete processing the said claims manually in a timely manner. This has been the cause of delay in the payment of those claims.

All claims should be paid to individual claimants latest by next week.
