Dr. Oduro, Richard

Dr. Richard Oduro is an experienced University lecturer and a Chartered Accountant who has in-depth expertise in the teaching and practice of finance, accounting and economics. He is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a PhD degree in Economics.

He is dedicated to all jobs most especially the teaching and learning of finance, accounting and economics to students of higher learning. He is an astute researcher in asset pricing, market structures and efficiency studies. His passion for finance, accounting and economics is par excellent and he is able to use own initiative and works well in a team even under pressure to meet strict deadlines with set objectives.

As a senior lecturer of finance, he has published a number of quality papers in renowned journals both national and international. As a researcher, Dr. Richard Oduro takes so much interest in seminars, workshops and conferences. Consequently, he has attended conferences, workshops and seminars geared towards his continuous professional development.

Dr. Richard Oduro’s over fourteen years teaching experience in universities in Ghana makes him one of the most experienced finance and economics lectures in our country. No doubt he has a very big heart for graduate students and ever ready to assist them in their research and thesis writing irrespective of their background knowledge. He has risen through the various positions and currently he is the Acting Dean of School of Business, University of Education, Winneba.

A very humble and pleasant personality you would like to work with. He is happily married to Emma and between them they have three lovely children, a boy and two girls. At his leisure time, he can be found watching football especially when the Red Devils are in action.
