Johnson Kwaku Edu is a multi-talented and a lecturer at the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Education, Winneba in Ghana. He has been with the Department of Theatre Arts since 2013. He is currently the President of the Performing Arts Association of Ghana. (PATAG).
Johnson growing up unearthed his artistic talent at the age of four while in the Rev. John Teye Memorial School at Ofankor, Ghana. He was the third born to his parents. Johnson had the inert passion for music and visual art making him a child genius in these artistic areas.
Prior to Johnson's appointment as a lecturer, he worked with the National Theatre of Ghana as a technical Director, Scenic Designer, Chairman for Programme committee for thirteen years. A position he handled with passion and dedication. At the same time, he was a part-time lecturer at the University of Cape Coast and the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Legon, Ghana from 2008 to 2012.
