A delegation from the Department of Educational Foundations (DEF) at the School of Education and Life-Long Learning (SELLL), University of Education Winneba (UEW), in a significant stride towards enhancing educational practices and research in Ghana, has visited the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA).

The visit, spearheaded by the Ag. Head of the Department, Dr. Paul Kobina Effrim, included Prof. Charles Nyarko Annobil, the Vice-Dean of SELLL; Dr. Richardson Addai-Mununkum; Dr. Peter Eshun; and Dr. Joseph Appianing. Welcoming the UEW delegation, Prof. Edward Appiah, the Director-General of NaCCA, expressed his enthusiasm for the visit. He provided the team with a comprehensive overview of NaCCA's mandate, emphasising ongoing curricula reforms at the pre-tertiary level. In turn, the DEF team shed light on their Department's programmes, notably highlighting the Master of Philosophy in Curriculum and Pedagogic Studies and the upcoming programmes slated for January 2024: Master of Philosophy in Assessment, Measurement, and Evaluation, and Master of Philosophy in Instructional Design and Technology.
