Workshop for Administrative and Clerical Staff - Senior Members, Senior and Junior Staff

The workshop aims at bringing all categories of University Administrative staff - Senior Members, Senior Staff and Junior Staff together and equip them with the necessary skills and re -orientation as the University prepares to welcome students in January 2024.

UEW and U.S. Researchers Secure NASA Grant for Innovative Education Project
Two distinguished scholars from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Prof. Sakina Acquah and Dr. Benedict Arko, have joined forces with renowned researchers from the United States, Dr. Alvitta Ottley, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL), and Amanda Makulec, an Independent Consultant. Together, they have been awarded a prestigious grant by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) through the Gordon Research Conferences.
UEW Scholars Secure Grant for Innovative Coastal Resilience Project
In a notable development, Dr. Adams Osman, Project Lead, and Mrs. Christiana Kilson, respectively from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), and the UEW- Co-operative Credit Union (CCU), have clinched a grant award of $148,400 from the United Kingdom’s Department for Environmental, Food, and Rural Affairs (DEFRA)/Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance (ORRAA). This significant grant is in support of their collaborative venture with Hen Mpoano.

Prof. Sarpong of UEW Appointed as Coordinator for ICHPER-SD in West Africa
Prof. Emmanuel Osei Sarpong, Ag. Dean, Faculty of Health, Allied Sciences and Home Economics Education, University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has been named as the new Coordinator for the West Africa Zone by the International Council for Health, Physical Education, Sports, and Dance (ICHPER-SD).
