The First Session of the 30th Congregation is taking place from Wednesday, 26th to Saturday, 29th November 2025.

All graduands will have the opportunity to take their official photographs by the School of Creative Arts (SCA) photographers inside the Auditorium. This is a great opportunity to capture your achievements with polished high quality images perfect for sharing with family, friends, and future employees.

The Department of Integrated Science Education of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Thursday, 13th November, 2025, held an engaging Chemistry Festival at Swedru Senior High School (SWESCO) as part of its ongoing efforts to make the teaching and learning of science more interactive and innovative.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) in partnership with the National Ambulance Service (NAS) and NTU International A/S, has held a two-day Post-Crash Care Integrated Training Programme for emergency care providers under the Safe System for Radical Improvement of Road Safety in Low- and Middle-Income African Countries (AfroSAFE) project.

The Institute for Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) commemorated the 2025 World Teachers’ Day on Wednesday, 5th November 2025, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre.

Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has met with the family of the late Prof. Nathaniel Kofi Pecku, the first substantive principal of the then University College of Education, Winneba (UCEW).

The meeting, held at the University’s Council Chamber, served as a formal notification of his passing and an opportunity to discuss arrangements for his funeral.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) through its Department of Art Education at the School of Creative Arts strengthened its contribution to national heritage with a formal donation of a bust portrait of the 'Big Six' to the newly inaugurated Ghana Parliament Museum.

The ceremony, held on Friday, 7th November 2025, marked a significant milestone for both the University and the Museum.

The University of Education, Winneba wishes to inform all members of the University community and the general public that the University will officially re-open for the 2025/2026 Academic Year as follows:

Saturday, 3rd January, 2026 (Fresh Students - Regular) and,
Saturday, 10th January, 2026 (Continuing Students - Regular).

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) informs all 2025 graduands and the general public that the First Session of the 30th Congregation will be held in person from Wednesday, 26th to Saturday, 29th November, 2025, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) exhibited remarkable determination and teamwork at the 28th Inter-University Cross Country competition held at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanya, in the Eastern Region.  

The competition, which featured 16 public universities in the country, formed part of the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Minor Games which also included disciplines such as chess, scrabble, tug of war and Ampe.
